BCBSM Value Partnerships

It is a collection of programs among Blue Cross, physicians and hospitals across Michigan that make health care work better for everyone. It is value based, outcomes-based health care, a movement away from the Fee-for-Service model and pays health care providers for successfully managing their patients health.

BCBSM Collaborative Quality Initiatives (CQIs)

Addresses many of the most common and costly areas of surgical and medical care in Michigan.

Upper Peninsula Health Information Exchange (UPHIE)

UPHIE is a qualified organization (QO) that governs health information exchange across health care stakeholders in the region.

MI Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN)

MiHIN is a public and private non-profit statewide health information exchange that focuses on decreasing cost and improving health care in the state of Michigan.

Stanford Unconscious Bias in Medicine Education Module

Provides education on unconscious bias in the workplace. Self-assessment opportunities, and exploring bias busting strategies are reviewed.

Michigan Institute for Care Management & Transformation (MICMT) Resources

MICMT
MICMT is the coordinating center for the BCBSM Provider Delivered Care Management (PDCM) program. They work with Michigan POs to provide resources, tools and advance team-based care support through best practices, providing trainings on community health worker peer support, care management and integration of behavioral health within primary care.
